TRENT
Folded and Formed® heater racks consist of a fabricated
aluminized or alloy steel support frame with pre-formed metal channels. In these channels, high-grade,
refractory, slide-in, porcelain retainers are mounted to support three rows of one, two or three-tier high TRENT F&F® nickel-chrome, ribbon type heating elements.
There are six rack series each designed for two or three temperature ranges. Single tier racks can be mounted on side walls as radiant heaters. Two and three-tier racks require air circulation parallel to the porcelain retainers so the air moves across the heating elements.
Duct work is recommended for two or three-tier installation. Temperature ratings given for each rack reflect the maximum rack frame temperature. With proper air velocity and overtemperature control the following AIR OUTLET temperatures can be safely maintained:
1350°F Rack Temperature ---------- 1200°F Air Outlet Temperature
750°F Rack Temperature ----------- 650°F Air Outlet Temperature
Each rack utilizes TRENT
F&F® ribbon type heating elements that provide heat more readily
and over a wider area than other elements. This means more heat, faster
and with less energy expended. They also allow faster cooling to prolong
element life. These benefits, coupled with the ease of installation, make
TRENT
F&F® heater racks as economical as they are efficient.
