Maximum Temperature in Air Atmosphere: 2750°F / 1510°C
In Reducing Atmosphere: 2500°F / 1371°C

TRENT's Silicon Carbide Rod Element Furnace is heavy duty throughout. The insulation is one layer of high temperature brick, backed by slab-type, lower temperature insulating layers. The hearth is of highest-grade silicon carbide.

Standard models have a vertical-lift, manually operated, counterweighted door. Air cylinder or electric motor door operations are available.

STANDARD FEATURES:
• Standard parts with little or no maintenance required
• Firebrick chamber liner backed by slab type secondary insulation
• Heavy duty welded steel construction
• High grade silicon carbide type hearth plate
• Silicon carbide resistors located beneath the hearth

   plate for long life
• Vertical-lift, counterweighted door for quick access to the

   work chamber

• Mounted to legs to bring the hearth 36" above floor level
• Platinum rhodium type thermocouple for the heat chamber
