The TRENT Trough Furnaces have the same basic design as the PF Series Pot Type furnaces.

A one-piece manually operated cover is standard equipment and the cover is mounted on rollers for easy opening and closing. The cover is filled with brick and pre-cast insulation. Standard equipment includes:

• One sheathless thermocouple located in the heating element zone
• One angle type thermocouple located in the pot
• One fabricated steel pot for temperatures up to 900°F and 1700°F
• One protecting gold fuse (1940°F melting point) for excess

   temperature protection

STANDARD FEATURES:
• Standard parts with little or no maintenance required
• Firebrick chamber liner backed by slab type secondary insulation
• Vessel of pressed steel, inconel or stainless steel with flange and

   skirt with gasket to prevent seepage into furnace chamber
• One-piece cover on rollers for easy opening and closing

• Carbon steel outer casing painted with a heat resistant paint
• TRENT Folded and Formed® heating elements supported by

   ceramic retainers that are keyed into the side walls of the brick chamber

• Thermocouples for heat chamber and vessel temperature control plus    furnace overtemperature protection with additional thermocouple or gold    fuse
