Maximum Temperature: 2000°F / 1093°C

Used for heat treating small quantities of material, ash determination, melting of white metal and for thermocouple calibration. TRENT Pit or Crucible furnaces have heating elements wound on a spiral form. The cover can be drilled for insertion of a thermometer or thermocouple.

STANDARD FEATURES:

• Rugged construction for industrial applications
• Firebrick and powder type insulation

• Brick type cover
• Openings at one or both ends if desired
• Carbon steel outer casing painted with a heat resistant paint
• Long-life helical coil heating elements wound around and
cemented to a vertically set   alundum core chamber
